its 2010!

Hmm… 2009 was a matter of a week ago! Personally, time passed so hurriedly last year. In my opinion, normally people associates time flies with “busy-ness” or “merely too enjoyable”. (Ah just the other day, I learnt another msn acronym: ‘imo’ from a friend) Well, I would like to describe my 2009: It had been such such an interesting and wonderful year in which I literally saw God’s blessings showered upon me as such that I never thought teaching was my calling. He was there through all my happy tears and my deepest worries. My gracious heavenly Father brought peace to all my qualms. For that, I cannot thank Him enough notably for the rollercoaster ride in second semester

Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalm 55:22)

Eh? I am no big fan to “resolutions-making” simply because I don’t keep to it. Ah! I am such a dreadful example. Nevertheless, this start of 2010, I made 1 resolution in my prayer. And this time round, it would be different as I have committed it to the Lord. It would no longer by my own strength but through my Almighty Father. Of course, you may have meticulously mapped out your 2010 or even your entire life-plan; still always bear in mind: God has the ultimate say. But it should not be an excuse that you “leave it to God blindly”. Plan and trust God wisely is the right way to go.

Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice. In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. (Proverbs 16:8,9)

Happy New Year, everyone! So how was your 2009? Hopefully you have allowed a time of “emo-ness” (“emo” time is not necessarily though) to reflect on your 2009 and DO! make firm (and freaking constructive!) resolution”s” as to how you could be a more delightful shining light for the Lord in this New Year! (Ephesians 4:17-32)
